Regina L. Davis joined NARUC as the Director of Communications in April 2015. She is the Association’s media contact; writes, edits, and disseminates press releases, statements, and speeches; manages and edits The Bulletin, NARUC’s newsletter; leads social media efforts' and provides overall communications strategies for the Association. In addition, she supports advocacy efforts by assisting in the preparation and review of testimony. In her role, she promotes the Association’s three major meetings and other events. Regina also hosts NARUC's podcast, The Power Walk.
She was previously the Communications Director for the Maryland Public Service Commission, serving as the Commission’s primary spokesperson. She also arranged press conferences, developed social media strategies, oversaw the agency’s website redesign, helped create vision and mission statements, and developed overall communications strategies for the commission.
Regina worked in similar capacities at the Council of State Governments Justice Center, the University of Maryland Dental School, and the University of Maryland Baltimore’s Office of External Affairs. She has taught and served as a lecturer at Loyola College in Baltimore and Towson University in Towson, Maryland. She earned an M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Mass Communication from Towson University.
