NARUC Congratulates Rosenworcel and Carr on FCC Confirmations
WASHINGTON—The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners issued the following statement acknowledging the Senate confirmation of Jessica Rosenworcel and Brendan Carr as new commissioners at the Federal Communications Commission.
“NARUC congratulates Jessica Rosenworcel and Brendan Carr on their confirmation to the FCC by the Senate. They both have extensive knowledge of communications issues and will be important voices in the coming deliberations. NARUC looks forward to continuing the close working relationship between State public utility commissions and the FCC on areas of shared interest, such as universal service, Next Generation 911, competition and consumer protection.”
