WASHINGTON—The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners issued the following statement after President Barack Obama named Norman C. Bay as Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission:
“On behalf of my State regulatory colleagues, I congratulate Chairman Bay on his appointment by President Obama to lead the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. His experience at FERC as a Commissioner and as Director of Enforcement is an excellent foundation for the important work ahead. I look forward to working with him in his new role. I would also like to thank and recognize FERC Commissioner LaFleur for her leadership roles as acting chair and chair.“
