The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory invite State Energy Offices, public utility commissions, and utility consumer advocates to participate in one of three trainings on integrated distribution system planning. The content of the three trainings will be identical, and state participants are welcome to attend any one of them.
The training includes technical courses, peer-sharing, office hours with trainers, covering all new topics with a focus on planning for electrification and distributed energy resources and concluding with a new half-day state action planning workshop (see below for a list of topics). These trainings are open to commissioners and staff of all public utility commissions, the directors and staff of State Energy Offices, and state consumer advocates. They are supported by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Electricity and Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
