Infographic: Modernized Grids Can Increase Security Risks

October 2020 – With support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) has produced a new infographic titled "Modernized Grids can Increase Cybersecurity Risks."

The focus of the infographic is to provide clear and concise information on the following topics:

• Information Technology (IT) Objective vs. Operations Technology (OT) Objective
• What regulators should and should not do when it comes to cyber preparedness
• USAID/NARUC tools and resources on cybersecurity strategies, risk and maturity assessments, prudency of investments, and measurement and verification of assessments
