Open to NARUC, NASEO, NASUCA, NGA, NCSL, and NACAA members, this three part virtual trainings series will dive into key concepts of integrated planning (IP), a holistic planning approach to develop affordable, reliable, and robust investment plans by integrating traditionally siloed processes.

The National Association of State Energy Officials (NASEO), National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory invite State Energy Offices, public utility commissions, and utility consumer advocates to participate in one of three trainings on integrated distribution system planning. The content of the three trainings will be similar, and state participants are welcome to attend any one of them.

Open to NARUC Task Force on Natural Gas Resource Planning members, participants of the 2025 workshop will work on refining natural gas planning roadmaps. 

This is the first in a series of virtual, interactive regional trainings for PUCs and state energy offices throughout the country on grid resilience planning.

Members of the NARUC-NASEO Advanced Nuclear State Collaborative are invited to participate in a site visit to Charlotte, NC which will include a tour of the Catawba Nuclear Plant, EPRI Research Labs, and presentations from North Carolina utilities and industry experts on advanced nuclear development in the state.
