Regulators' Roundtable Series on Wildfires Part 2 - Regulating Wildfires: Mitigation Oversight, Affordability and Cost Recovery

NARUC’s Center for Partnerships & Innovation will convene a Regulators' Roundtable series for state utility commissions to explore the financial and affordability issues arising from wildfires. This multi-part virtual series will offer opportunities for members to gain insights into the national context, learn from peers, and discuss potential strategies for moving forward.

The Roundtable series will consist of three virtual meetings, each with an educational component as well as peer sharing. Commissioner Ann Rendahl (WA) and Commissioner Letha Tawney (OR) will moderate each session. An in-person capstone meeting, held in conjunction with NARUC’s Annual Meeting in November 2024, is in development.

Participation in the Regulators’ Roundtable series is open to Commissioners and staff from all states with an interest in active participation. Registration is required to attend.
