RTO Advanced is an intensive annual course critical to furthering understanding of regional transmission organizations in North America. The RTO Advanced course takes a deeper dive into transmission planning, resource adequacy, system reliability, and financial markets. Content is updated annually as the industry evolves.
Course Summary:
RTO Advanced is intended for those looking to further their foundational knowledge of regional transmission organizations. This may include utility employees; legislative and regulatory staff; federal, state and local government personnel; consumer and trade-industry groups; industry-affiliated attorneys; and university staff/students. Registration is open to the public. Expert instructors from RTOs, utilities, consumer groups, regulators, market monitors, and academics will provide diverse perspectives.
